Temporary 30mph speed limit: A57 Gyratory and A57 Liverpool Road/A57 Cadishead Way, Order 2009

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary 30 mph speed limit as detailed in the schedule below.

The order is required to reduce speed of vehicles approaching the gyratory whilst construction of a new entrance to the waste facility site and will commence on the 17 April 2009 for a period of six months until 17 October 2009.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/CW/UV/RTT/182).

Schedule

Temporary 30 mph speed limit to affect A57 Gyratory and A57 Liverpool Road/A57 Cadishead Way, from a point 800m north of the gyratory to a point 800m south of the gyratory.
