Temporary 30 mph speed limit: A580 East Lancashire Road Order 2009

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a 30 mph speed limit on the A580 East Lancashire Road, west bound from a point 180 metres east of the M60 off slip (junction 14) to its junction with B5232 Newearth Road and Ellenbrook Road.

The order is required to reduce the speed of vehicles to enable the construction of a new east west link main clean water pipeline and will commence on 12 October 2009 for a period of nine months until 12 July 2010.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/LH/UV/RTT/358)
