Amendment: A580 East Lancashire Road Order 2009

Notice that the council of the city of Salford intends to make an Order under Sections, 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

When the order comes into effect the schedule of the 'Salford City Council (A580 East Lancashire Road) (Introduction of new 50mph Speed Limit) Order 2009 will be amended to read as per the schedule below.

A copy of the proposed order, together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order, may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection, in writing, to the City Solicitor C/o The Litigation Team, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by 16 July 2009 (quoting reference H/PP).

A580 East Lancashire Road, that extends from the Salford City Council boundary with Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council to the M60/M61 motorway interchange a distance of approximately 5815 metres
