Temporary one way traffic: A6 Chorley Road, Swinton Order 2009

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a one way traffic system on the length of road specified in the below.

The order is required to facilitate highway maintenance and will commence on 17 October 2009 for a period of five weeks until 21 November 2009. It is anticipated that works will take place between Saturday 17 and 18 October and 14 to 15 November 2009.

The alternative route for vehicles will be for west bound traffic, Wellington Road, Swinton Hall Road, B5231 Station Road.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/PP/RTT/UV/354)

Schedule

A6 Chorley Road, Swinton between its junction with Wellington Road & B5231 Station Road - traffic will only be allowed to travel in an east bound direction.
