Prohibition of Driving Agecroft Road Order 2009
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will to introduce a temporary one way system and a temporary prohibition driving on Agecroft Road, Swinton, from Park Lane West to Pendlecroft Avenue.
The order is required to enable contractors to strengthen and refurbish a Network Rail bridge over Agecroft Road, Swinton. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Bolton Road A666 – Broad Street A6 – Broughton Road A576 – Littleton Road.
The order will commence on 27 July 2009 and will end on 31 October 2009. The duration of the temporary one way and temporary prohibition of driving is specified in further detail in the schedule below.
Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref L/RC/UV/RTT/327).
Schedule
- Temporary One Way
Will be in operation at all times during the period of 27 July 2009 until 31 October 2009 unless a full prohibition of driving is in operation as mentioned below.
- Temporary Prohibition of Driving
Will be in operation weekend periods only starting 1/2 August 2009 for the following seven weekends until 12/13 September 2009 and a further weekend period of 17/18 October 2009.
