Prohibition of Waiting: Barr Hill Avenue/Summerville Road, Salford Order 2007
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001 No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait on the length of road specified in the schedule below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the City Solicitor, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by the 19 July 2007 (quoting reference H/PP/SM/C/PD/RTO/2757).

Introduction of no waiting at any time
- Barr Hill Avenue, north west side, from the north western kerbline of Summerville Road in a north easterly direction for a distance of 68 metres.
- Barr Hill Avenue, south east side, from the north western kerbline of Summerville Road in a north easterly direction for a distance of 37 metres.
- Summerville Road, both sides, from a point 15 metres north west of the north western kerbline of Barr Hill Avenue in a south easterly direction for a distance of 36 metres.
