Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Barton Lane (B5230), Eccles, Order 2008

Notice is hereby given that the council of the City of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving on Barton Lane (B5230), Eccles for its entire length.

The order is required to enable replacement of electricity cabling within the highway. The works will be carried out under phased working and closures will be placed as and when required and will commence on 21 July 2008 for a period of 8 weeks until 21 September 2008. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Corporation Road, Church Street, Liverpool Road (A57), Barton Road (B5211) and Cawdor Street. Access for residents will be maintained where possible.
