Manchester and Salford Inner Relief Route: Revocation of Prohibition of Waiting and Introduction of New Prohibition of Waiting, Order 2006
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001, No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.
When the order comes into effect The City of Salford (Manchester and Salford Inner Relief Route Stage 2 Blackfriars Road to Gore Street Section) (Limited Waiting) Order 1988 will be amended insofar as it relates to schedule 1 below.
When the order comes into effect The City of Salford (Manchester and Salford Inner Relief Route Stage 2 Blackfriars Road to Gore Street Section) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1988 will be amended insofar as it relates to schedule 2 below.
When the order comes into effect The City of Salford (Manchester and Salford Inner Relief Route Stage 2 Blackfriars Road to Gore Street Section) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1988 will be amended insofar as it relates to schedule 3 below.
When the order comes into effect The City of Salford (Streets Adjacent to the Manchester and Salford Inner Relief Route, Salford 3) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1987 will be amended insofar as it relates to schedule 4 below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order, together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order, may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection, in writing, to the City Solicitor, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, by the 15 June 2006 (quoting reference H/PP/SM/C/PD/RTO/02222).
