Parking places and controlled parking zone order 2002 amendment number 2 Order 2009

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make the above mentioned order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 19, 32, 35, 35A, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to that Act and by virtue of the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001, No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for the Environment Transport and the Regions.

When the order comes into effect the city of Salford (Parking Places and Controlled Parking Zone) (Amendment No.2) Order 2009 will have effect as though the parking place specified in the schedules below were included in Schedule 1 Part 1, Schedule 2 Part 1, Schedule 2 Part 2 and Schedule 2 Part 5 of the original order.

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the City Solicitor, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by 13 July 2009 (quoting reference H/RB//RTO/UV/260).

Amendment of the City of Salford (Parking Places and Controlled Parking Zone) Order 2002

Schedule A

Amend Schedule 1 Part 1 (Designated parking places)

  • Delete S1 referring to Booth Street

Schedule B

Amend Schedule 2 Part 1 (no waiting between 8am and 6pm Mondays to Fridays and between 8am and 12.30pm on Saturdays)

Amend Booth Street to read:

  • Booth Street south west side, from a point 32 metres south east of its junction with Chapel Street, in a south easterly direction for a distance of 67 metres.
  • Delete Clowes Street.

Schedule C

Amend Schedule 2 Part 2 (no waiting at any time)

Add:

  • Booth Street, south west side, from its junction with Chapel Street, in a south easterly direction, for a distance of 32 metres.
  • Booth Street, south west side, from a point 99 metres south east of its junction with Chapel Street, in a south easterly direction for its full length.
  • Booth Street, north east side, from its junction with Chapel Street in a south easterly direction for its full length.
  • Clowes Street, both sides, from its junction with Chapel Street, in a south easterly direction for a distance of 100 metres.

Schedule D

Amend Part 5 Schedule 2 (no loading at any time)

Add:

  • Booth Street, south west side from its junction with Chapel Street, in a south easterly direction for a distance of 32 metres.
  • Booth Street, south west side, from a point 99 metres south east of its junction with Chapel Street, in a south easterly direction for its full length.
  • Booth Street, north east side, from its junction with Chapel Street, in a south easterly direction, for a distance of 22 metres.
  • Clowes Street, both sides, from its junction with Chapel Street, in a south easterly direction for a distance of 100 metres.
