Prohibition of waiting: Brackley Avenue/New Moss Road, Cadishead Order 2009
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait on the length of roads specified in the schedule below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive.
If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the City Solicitor, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA by 7 July 2009 (quoting reference H/RAB/RTO/UV/278).
Schedule
Introduction of no waiting at any time:
- Brackley Avenue, Cadishead, both sides, for a distance of 15 metres in a south westerly direction, from the south western kerbline of New Moss Road.
- New Moss Road, south side, from a point 10 metres north east of its junction with Brackley Avenue, for a distance of 10 metres.
- New Moss Road, north side, for a distance of 20 metres from the south western kerbline of Brackley Avenue, in a south easterly direction.
- New Moss Road, north side, for a distance of 10 metres from the north eastern kerbline of Brackley Avenue in a north easterly direction.
