Temporary prohibition of waiting: Broadway, Salford Order 2009

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be the temporary introduction of no waiting at any time restrictions on the highway stated in the schedule below.

The order is required on the grounds of highway safety to keep this section of highway clear during the initial construction phase of MediaCity and will commence on 24 January 2009 for a period of 24 months until 24 January 2011.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/LH/UV/RTT/202).

Schedule

Broadway, west side, from a point 23 metres north of the northern kerbline of Pacific Way in a northerly direction for a distance of 27 metres.
Broadway, west side, from a point 53 metres south of the northern kerbline of Pacific Way in a southerly then easterly direction for a distance of 97 metres.
Broadway, south side, from a point 15 metres west of the access road to Kestrel Court in a south easterly direction for a distance of 79 metres.
Broadway, south side, from a point 15 metres west of the access road to Mallard Court in a south easterly direction for a distance of 54 metres.
Broadway, east side, from a point opposite the northern kerbline of Pacific Way in a southerly then easterly direction for a distance of 155 metres.
Broadway, north side, from a point 15 metres west of the western kerbline of Columbus Way in a north westerly direction for a distance of 60 metres.
Broadway, north side, from a point 15 metres east of the eastern kerbline of Columbus Way in a south easterly direction for a distance of 100 metres.
