Experimental Introduction of a Hackney Carriage Stand; Amendment of Existing Prohibition of Waiting and Introduction of New Prohibition of Waiting: Chapel Street, Salford Order 2007
Notice is hereby given that on 9 March 2007 the council of the city of Salford made the abovementioned order under Sections 1, 2, 3 and 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order which comes into effect on 23 March 2007 introduces a hackney carriage stand along the length of road specified in schedule 1 below for a period of 18 months, amends an existing prohibition of waiting along the length of road specified in schedule 2 below for a period of 18 months and introduces a new prohibition of waiting along the length of road specified in schedule 3 below for a period of 18 months.
A copy of the order, together with a plan showing the area affected may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

The council of the city of Salford will consider in due course whether the provisions of that order should be continued in force indefinitely. You may object to this within six months from 23 March 2007 by stating the grounds of the objection in writing to the City Solicitor, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA (quoting reference H/LH/C/PD/RTO/2640)
