Prohibition of waiting and amendments: Clovelly Road/Moorside Road, Swinton Order 2008
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait at any time on the length of road specified in schedule 1 below.
When the order comes into effect, the Salford City Council (Clovelly Road/Moorfield Road, Swinton) (Revocation of Prohibition of Waiting and Introduction of New Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2007 will be amended insofar as it relates to schedule 2 below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the City Solicitor, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by the 10 July 2008 (quoting reference H/RC/PD/RTO/03142).

Introduction of
no waiting at any time
- Clovelly Road, east side, from the northern kerbline of Moorfield Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 18 metres.
- Moorside Road, west side, from the northern kerbline of Moorfield Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 10 metres.
- Clovelly Road, west side, from its junction with Worsley Road for a distance of 15 metres.

In so far as it relates to:
Schedule 1 (No Waiting 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday)
- Clovelly Road, west side, from its junction with Worsley Road to its junction with Allenby Road.
