Temporary Road Closure: Clowes Street, Salford Order 2007
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be the temporary closure of Clowes Street from a point 14 metres south west of the south western kerbline of Chapel Street for its entire length.
The order is required to enable the demolition of existing warehousing to enable the residential and commercial development of Chapel Wharf to commence. The temporary road closure will commence on Monday 5 February 2007 for a period of six months. The alternative route for pedestrians and vehicles will be via a private road within the development site.
Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed Order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/LH/C/PD/RTT/2554).
