Prohibition of Waiting: Cow Lane, Salford Order 2006
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001 No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait on the length of road specified in the schedule below between the hours of 7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive.
