Construction of road humps notice: Derby Road, Salford Order 2008

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford in exercise of its powers under Sections 90(A) and 90(C) and 90(D) of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 propose to construct road humps in the lengths of road specified in the schedule below.

A copy of the proposal, together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the proposal, may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposal you should send the grounds of your objections in writing to the City Solicitor, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA 21 days after the date of the notice (quoting reference H/RAB/RTO.UV126).

Schedule

Speed cushion - approximately 1.7 metres wide, 3.7 metres long and not exceeding 100mm in height

• Derby Road - 4 sets

Junction plateaux - full width of carriageway, approximately 16 metres long and not exceeding 100mm in height

• Derby Road/St Lukes Road
