Temporary prohibition of driving: East Drive, Swinton Order 2009

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving on the length of road specified in the schedule below.

The order is required to facilitate highway maintenance and will commence on 17 October 2009 for a period of five weeks until 21 November 2009. It is anticipated that works will take place between Saturday 17 to 20 October and 14 to 17 November 2009. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Central Drive, East Central Drive and North Drive.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/PP/RTT/UV355)

East Drive, Swinton between its junction with the A6 Manchester Road and Pontefract Close.
