Highways Act 1980 Section 116 and Twelfth Schedule: Footpaths at Eccles Library

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford in exercise of the powers conferred on them, intend to apply to the Magistrates' Court at Bexley Square, Salford, on 20 July 2006 at 9.45 a.m. for an order authorising the stopping up of the footpaths detailed in the schedule below.

           Total closure area of 19.604 square metres

  • Part of the footpath outside the western side of Eccles Library, Church Street, Eccles, marked 'B' on the plan numbered HM03/1241

           Total closure area of 9.256 square metres

  • Part of the footpath outside the western side of Eccles Library, Church Street, Eccles, marked 'C' on the plan numbered HM03/1241

           Total closure area of 12.121 square metres

  • Part of the footpath situated at the southern side of Eccles Library, Church Street, Eccles, marked 'D' on the plan numbered HM03/1241

           Total closure area of 23.82 square metres

  • Part of the footpath at the south side of Eccles Library, Church Street, Eccles, marked 'E' on the plan numbered HM03/1241

           Total closure area of 34.547 square metres

  • Part of the footpath at the south east side of Eccles Library, Church Street, Eccles, marked 'F' on the plan numbered HM03/1241

           Total closure area of 2.046 square metres

  • Part of the footpath outside the eastern side of Eccles Library, Church Street, Eccles, marked 'G' on the plan numbered HM03/1241

           Total closure area of 27.988 square metres

  • Part of the footpath outside the eastern side of Eccles Library, Church Street, Eccles, marked 'H' on the plan numbered HM03/1241

           Total closure area of 6.921 square metres

The effect of the proposed order is shown on the plan which may be inspected free of charge at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton,Salford during normal office hours (Ref. H/ME/PD/STC/ECCLES LIBRARY).
