Temporary Footpath Closure: Definitive Footpath 55, Swinton and Pendlebury Order 2006

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily close a section of Definitive Footpath No. 55, Swinton and Pendlebury, as detailed in the schedule below.

The order is required to enable North West Development Agency Contractors to construct a new single carriageway road for future development purposes and will commence on 15 February 2006 for a period of 6 months until 14 August 2006. The alternative route will be via a temporary footpath which will be constructed adjacent to the section of Definitive Footpath closed.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours.  (Ref H/ME/C/PD/RTT/01533).

From a point 87 metres west of its junction with the highway Lamplight Way for a distance of 64 metres in a north westerly and south westerly direction.
