Temporary Weight Restriction: Frederick Road, Salford Order 2007

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a weight restriction as detailed in the schedule below.   Maximum gross weight 7.5 tonne with licensed dispensation for buses and emergency vehicles.

The order is required to protect a weak bridge until remedial works are carried out and will commence on 7 March 2007 for a period of two years until 7 March 2009. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Broad Street, Adelphi Street, Blackfriars Road, Lower Broughton Road, Frederick Road, Seaford Road, Gerald Road, Cromwell Road, and Lissadel Street.
