Temporary One Way Traffic and Temporary Prohibition of Driving: Great Cheetham Street West, Salford Order 2007
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be a temporary one way working of vehicular traffic in accordance with schedule 1 below and to temporarily prohibit driving along the length of road specified in schedule 2 below.
The order is required to facilitate the repair of a large diameter public sewer beneath the carriageway of Great Cheetham Street West and to complete the works before the start of the Metrolink line refurbishment in late Spring/Summer 2007. The order will commence on Monday 9 April 2007 for a period of three months until 9 July 2007. The alternative route for east bound traffic on Great Cheetham Street West will be diverted via. Great Clowes Street – Broughton Lane – Bury New Road A56.

- Great Cheetham Street West, Salford, vehicles to be restricted to one way working in a westerly direction from its junction with Bury New Road A56 to its junction with Great Clowes Street.

Temporary Prohibition of Driving:
- Hilton Street North, Salford, from its junction with Great Cheetham Street West for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.
- Bowker Street, Salford, from its junction with Great Cheetham Street West for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.
