Temporary prohibition of driving: Hall Bank, Eccles Order 2009

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure as per the schedule below.

The order is required to enable Network Rail contractors to reconstruct the Hall Bank abutment/support to the railway viaduct over the Bridgewater Canal and will commence on Monday 20 April 2009 for a period of two months until 20 June 2009.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours.  (Ref H/CW/RTT/UV/182).

Schedule

  • Hall Bank, Eccles, Salford, from a point 90 metres north east of its junction with Worsley Road for a distance of 100 metres.
