Temporary prohibition of driving: Hilton Lane, Worsley Order 2008

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving on the lengths of road specified in the schedule below.

The order is required to facilitate railway bridge repairs and will commence on Monday 13 October 2008 until the 16 October 2008 and Monday 20 October 2008 until 23 October 2008 between the hours of 8.00pm and 6.00am.

The alternative route for vehicles will be via Manchester Road East and Bridgewater Street.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/PP/RTT/UV/118).

Hilton Lane, from a point 85 metres south east of its junction with Primrose Bank in a south easterly direction for a distance of 150 metres.
