Revocation of Prohibition of Waiting and Introduction of New Prohibition of Waiting and Introduction of Limited Waiting Bay: Hodson Street, Salford Order 2006
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001, No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait at any time on the length of road specified in schedule 1 below.
When the order comes into effect the order specified in schedule 2 will be revoked.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait for 30 minutes no return within 2 hours on the length of road specified in schedule 3.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order, together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order, may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection, in writing, to the Assistant Director (Legal), Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by the 28 September 2006 (quoting reference H/RC/RTO/PD/02337).

INTRODUCTION OF NO WAITING AT ANY TIME
- Hodson Street, south east side, from its junction with Blackfriars Road for its entire length.
- Hodson Street, north west side, from its junction with Blackfriars Road for a distance of 25 metres.
Schedule 2
REVOCATION OF
The City of Salford (Hodson Street, Salford) Prohibition of Waiting Order 2000.
In so far as it relates to:
- Delete Schedule 2 - No Waiting 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday, Hodson Street, north western side, from the southern kerbline of Blackfriars Road in a south westerly direction for a distance of 33 metres.
Schedule 3
INTRODUCTION OF LIMITED WAITING BAY
- Monday to Friday 7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. - 30 minutes no return within 2 hours.
- Hodson Street, north western side, from its cul de sac end in an easterly direction for a distance of 16 metres.
