Temporary Prohibition of Driving: Holly Road/Houghton Lane, Swinton Order 2007

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving as detailed in the schedule below.

The order is required to enable the replacement of a public sewer by United Utilities contractors and will commence on 19 February 2007 for a period of six months until 19 August 2007. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Houghton Lane - Worsley Road - Folly Lane - Birch Road, for the Houghton Lane prohibition of driving.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours.  (Ref H/RB/PD/RTT/2592)

• Holly Road, Swinton, from its junction with Houghton Lane for its entire length.
• Houghton Lane, Swinton, from its junction with Holly Road to Warren Drive.
