Residents parking scheme and prohibition of waiting amendment No 2: Hope Hospital Phase 3 Order 2009
Notice is hereby given that that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2, and 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001, No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Office of Police for the County of Greater Manchester and in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the said Act of 1984.
When the order comes into effect the Salford City Council (Hope Hospital Phase 3) (Residents Parking Scheme and Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2009 will be amended as specified in the schedule below.
A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive.
If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the City Solicitor, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by 5 October 2009 (quoting reference L/RB/UV/RTO/305).

In so far as it relates to:
Schedule 1- no waiting at any time
Oakland Avenue
- Oakland Avenue, both sides, from the eastern kerbline of Victoria Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.
To read:
- Oakland Avenue, both sides, from the eastern kerbline of Victoria Road for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction.
Orvietto Avenue
- Orvietto Avenue, both sides, from the eastern kerbline of Victoria Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.

Add:
- St Georges Crescent, east side, from a point 20 metres from its junction with Half Edge Lane for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction.
Schedule 4 - introduction of permit holder only Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm
Add:
- St Georges Crescent, west side, from a point 20 metres north of its junction with Half Edge Lane for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction.
