Revocation of prohibition of waiting and introduction of new prohibition of waiting: Huntsman Drive, Cadishead Order 2009

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

When the order comes into effect Salford City Council (Huntsman Drive/Bessemer Road, Irlam) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2008  will be amended as detailed in the schedule below.

When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait  on the length of road specified in the schedule below.

The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

A copy of the proposed order, together with a plan of the area and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the order, may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection, in writing, to the City Solicitor, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, by the 21 May 2009 (quoting reference  H/CW/TRO/UV/237)

Amendment of:

Delete:

• Huntsman Drive, north side, from a point 153 metres north west of the kerbline of Sorby Road in a north westerly direct for a distance of 15 metres.
• Huntsman Drive, north side, from a point 63 metres north west of the kerbline of Sorby Road in a north westerly direction for a distance of 37 metres.

Add:

• Hunstman Drive, north side, from a point 63 metres north west of the kerbline of Sorby Road in a north westerly direction for a distance of 128 metres.
• Huntsman Drive, south side, from a point 135 metres north west of the kerbline of Sorby Road for a distance of 69 metres.
• Huntsman Drive, south side, from a point 255 metres south west of the kerbline of Sorby Road in a south westerly direction for a distance of 15 metres.

Amend:

• Hunstman Drive, south side, from the kerbline of Sorby Road in a north westerly direction for a distance of 70 metres.
