Prohibition of Waiting and Peak Hour Loading/Unloading Restrictions: Irwell Grove, Eccles Order 2007
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001, No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions, pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait Monday - Saturday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. on the length(s) of road specified in schedule one below.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait at any time nor to load/unload between Monday - Friday 7.30 a.m. - 9.30 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. and Saturday 7.30 a.m. -9.30 a.m.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the Assistant Director (Legal), Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by the 11 October 2007 (quoting reference H/RC/SM/RTO/PD/02458).

No waiting Monday - Saturday 8.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m.
- Irwell Grove, south side, from a point 60 metres south west of the western kerbline of Irwell Avenue in a north easterly direction for a distance of 15 metres.
Schedule 2
Introduction of
No waiting at any time and no loading Monday - Friday 7.30 a.m. - 9.30 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. - 6.00 p.m. and Saturday 7.30 a.m. - 9.30 a.m.
- Irwell Grove, south side, from the eastern kerbline of Irwell Avenue in a north easterly direction for a distance of 30 metres.
