Town and Country Planning Act 1990 Section 257 and Paragraph 1 of Schedule 14: Footpath Diversion Japan Street, Salford Order 2006
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford (hereinafter referred to as "the Council") made the above mentioned order (hereinafter referred to as "the order") on 29 September 2006. The effect of the order will be to divert the public footpath described in Part 1 of the schedule below and to create an alternative footpath described in Part 2 of the schedule below as shown on the plan annexed to the order.
A copy of the order and the plan annexed to it has been deposited and may be inspected free of charge at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA between the hours of 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the order may be obtained at a reasonable charge.

Any representation or objection with respect to the order may be sent in writing to the Assistant Director (Legal) (quoting reference H/ME/PD/FCL/1927) at the abovementioned address before 2 November 2006 and should state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the council may confirm the order itself instead of submitting it to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation. If the order is submitted to the Secretary of State for confirmation, any representation or objection that has been duly made and not withdrawn will be transmitted with the order.
Schedule
Part 1
The diversion of the footpath at Japan Street from the point marked A to B as shown on the plan attached to the order, a width of 1.78 metres.
Part 2
The creation of an alternative footpath from the point marked B to C as shown on the plan attached to the order, a width of approximately 1.8 metres.
