Langworthy Road, Salford Revocation of Prohibition of Waiting Order 2005

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001 No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and Regions pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.

When the order comes into effect The Greater Manchester County (Side Roads off Langworthy Road, Salford 5) (Prohibition of Waiting) (City) Order 1987 will be revoked insofar as it relates to schedule 1 below.

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council’s reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford M27 5DA between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the Head of Law and Administration, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford M27 5DA by 28 April 2005 quoting reference H/ME/PD/RTO/01626.

Langworthy Road, east side, from the northerly kerbline of Field Street for a distance of 15 metres in a northerly direction.
