Introduction of new 20 mph speed limit: Ledbrooke Close and Colman Gardens Area, Ordsall Order 2007

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intends to make an Order under Sections, 1, 2, 4, 81, 82, 84(1)(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20 m.p.h. on the following lengths of road as specified in the schedule below.

A copy of the proposed order, together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order, may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection, in writing, to the City Solicitor, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by the 6 December 2007 (quoting reference H/RC/SM/RTO/PD/02916).

  • Ledbrook Close
  • Colman Gardens
  • Extension of Colman Gardens to Phoebe Street
