Temporary revocation of one-way system and introduction of road closure: Legh Street, Salford Order 2008

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily revoke the one-way system and introduce a road closure as detailed in the schedule below.

The order is required to facilitate footway improvements and resurfacing and will commence on 25 April 2009 for a period of six months until 25 October 2009. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Northumberland Street - Cheltenham Crescent and Broom Lane.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/RB/RTT/UV/264)
