Temporary Prohibition of Driving: Matlock Avenue, Calton Avenue, Monsal Avenue, Salford Order 2006

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving on the highways as specified in the schedule below.

The order is required to enable reconstruction of the carriageway and widen the footpath and will commence on 3rd April 2006 for a period of six months until 3rd October.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/RC/SM/RTT/PD/02132).

Schedule

Temporary prohibition of driving on the following sections of highway.

Matlock Avenue from its junction with Monsal Avenue for its entire length
Both sides of Calton Avenue from its junction with Monsal Avenue.
Outside number 8 in a northerly direction to outside number 26 Monsal Avenue, Salford
