Prohibition of waiting: Millers Court/Canterbury Gardens, Eccles Order 2007
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001 No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait at any time on the length of road specified in the schedule below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the City Solicitor, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by the 3 January 2008 (quoting reference H/RC/SM/RTO/PD/02974).

Introduction of no waiting at any time
- Millers Court, both sides, from the northern kerbline of Canterbury Gardens for a distance of 15 metres in a northerly direction.
- Canterbury Gardens, north side, from a point 15 metres west of the western kerbline of Millers Court in an easterly direction to a point 15 metres east of the eastern kerbline of Millers Court.
