Road Hump Scheme: Monton Road, Eccles Order 2006

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 90(A) and 90(C) and 90(D) of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999.

When the order comes into effect Junction Tables, Raised Plateux's and Speed Cushions will be placed in the length of road specified in the schedule below.

A copy of the proposed order, together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order, may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday inclusive

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objections in writing to the Assistant Director (Legal), Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by the 12 October 2006 (quoting reference H/HLU/SM/RTO/PD/02346).

RAISED PLATEUX

  • Clarendon Road - 2 sets.
  • Outside No. 101 Monton Road (to accommodate new pedestrian crossing facility).
  • Outside Ivy Bank House, Half Edge Lane (to accommodate existing pedestrian crossing facility).

SPEED CUSHIONS

  • Clarendon Road - 2 sets.
