Temporary prohibition of driving: Mort Lane, Worsley Order 2008
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving on the lengths of roads specified in the schedule below.
The order is required to facilitate railway bridge repairs and will commence on the weekends and on the lengths of roads specified in the schedule below between the hours of 8.00 pm Friday to 6.00 am Monday, works will last until the 18 November 2008. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Manchester Road East A6 - Newearth Road - East Lancashire Road - A580 - Mosley Common Road.
Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/PP/RTT/UV/109).

Mort Lane, from its junction with Madamswood Road in a south westerly direction to a point 60 metres south west of the City boundary.
