Prohibition of Waiting: Ordsall Lane/South Hall Street, Salford Amendment Order 2005

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1,2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of the The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001 No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.

When the order comes into effect the The City of Salford (Ordsall Lane/South Hall Street, Salford) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1996 will be amended in so far as it relates to the schedule below.

The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled person's vehicles.

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Monday to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the City Solicitor, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by the 12 January 2006 (quoting reference H/HLU/SM/RTO/PD/02014)

No Waiting at Any Time

Junction of South Hall Street and Ordsall Lane, Salford for a distance of 15 metres in each direction except on the South East side of Ordsall Lane from the North Eastern kerbline of South Hall Street for a distance of 25 metres

To Read

South Hall Street, both sides, from the south eastern kerblineof Ordsall Lane for a distance of 15 metres.

Ordsall Lane, both sides, from a point 25 metres north east of the north eastern kerbline of South Hall Street in a south westerly direction for a distance of 73 metres.

Add:

Asgard Drive, both sides, from the north western kerbline of Ordsall Lane for a distance of 15 metres.
