Parking Places and Controlled Parking Zone Order 2002: Amendment No 4, Order 2006
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 19, 32, 35, 35A, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 53 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001, No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.
When the order comes into effect The City of Salford (Parking Places and Controlled Parking Zone) Order 2002 will be amended as it relates to schedule 1 below.
When the order comes into effect The City of Salford (Parking Places and Controlled Parking Zone) Order 2002 will be amended as it relates to schedule 2 below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

All that part of the north east side of Blackfriars Road, Salford which is bounded on the north east by so much of the edge of the carriageway of that highway as extends from a point 8 metres south east of the south eastern kerbline of Queens Street south eastwards for a distance of 72 metres which has a width throughout of 1.8 metres (12 bays).
