Temporary footpath closure: Footpath crossing the tramway adjacent to the Quays Loop Road, Salford Quays Order 2009

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to introduce temporarily a footpath closure as per the schedule below.

The order is required to enable construction of the new spur from the existing tramway to provide a service to the new Media City Development and will commence on Monday 8 June 2009 for a period of six months until 8 December 2009. Diversions will be signed locally.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/CW/UV/RTT/293).
