Amendment of disabled persons parking places, Queen Street, Walkden Order 2009

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make the above mentioned order under Sections 32, 35 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the effect of which will be to provide disabled persons parking places (orange badge holders only) as specified in the schedule to this notice.

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area affected and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the City Solicitor c/o. The Litigation Team, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by 31 August 2009 (quoting reference L/RB/RTO/UV/265).

Schedule

Amend the City of Salford (Off Street Parking Places and Car Parks with Disabled Spaces) Order 2002:

  • Amend Schedule 5 to include Queen Street car park, Walkden, to include the four disabled parking bays in this car park
