Temporary Prohibition of Driving: Reading Street, Thursfield Street, Levens Street, Salford

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving on the highways as specified in the schedule below.

The order is required to enable the construction of new sections of one way streets and to widen adjacent footpaths and will commence on 24 April 2006 for a period of three months until 24 July 2006. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Littleton Road - Milnthorpe Street - Suffolk Street.

To temporarily prohibit driving on the following sections of highway

Reading Street from Littleton Road for a distance of 20 metres in a westerly direction
Thursfield Street from Littleton Road for a distance of 20 metres in a westerly direction
Levens Street from Littleton Road for a distance of 20 metres in a westerly direction
