Prohibition of driving: Smith Street, Walkden Order 2009
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make the abovementioned order under Sections 1, 2 and 3 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause any vehicle to proceed along the length of road specified in the schedule below. An exemption is required to allow vehicles associated with Church Services to use Smith Street.
A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive.
If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the City Solicitor, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA by 4 June 2009 (quoting reference H/RB/SM/RTO/UV/283).

- Smith Street, Walkden from the rear of the eastern footpath of Bolton Road, for a distance of 82 metres in an easterly direction.
