Temporary Weight Restriction: Station Road, Swinton Order 2007

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a weight restriction as detailed in the schedule below.  Maximum gross weight 18 tonne.

The order is required to protect a weak bridge until remedial works are carried out and will commence on 7 March 2007 for a period of two years until 7 March 2009. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Bolton Road and Swinton Hall Road.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours.  (Ref H/RB/PD/RTT/2608).

Station Road, Swinton, from a point 142 metres north of the junction of Swinton Hall Road in a northerly direction for 50 metres.
