Prohibition of waiting: Stott Lane, Salford Order 2009
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait on the lengths of road specified in the schedule below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive.
If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the City Solicitor c/o. The Litigation Team, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by 12 October 2009 (quoting reference L/ME/SM/UV/RTO/340).
Schedule
- Stott Lane, east side, from Eccles Old Road, in a southerly direction for a distance of 55 metres.
- Stott Lane, west side, from Eccles Old Road, in a southerly direction for a distance of 75 metres.
- Access road to the off-street car park, situated on the south side of Eccles Old Road, between property number. 189 Eccles Old Road and the Hope Hospital access road, both sides, from the southern kerbline of Eccles Old Road for a distance of 12.5 metres in a southerly direction.
