Temporary one way traffic system: Stott Lane, Salford Order 2009

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a one way traffic system on Stott Lane, Salford, from its junction with Eccles New Road for a distance of 153 metres. Vehicles will be permitted to travel in a northerly direction only (towards the hospital).

The order is required to enable essential safety works to the motorway bridge and will commence on 12 October 2009 for a period of 8 weeks until 7 December 2009. The alternative route for vehicles will be as follows:-

  • Vehicles approaching Stott Lane from the east will be diverted via Gilda Brook Road and Eccles New Road
  • Vehicles approaching from the west will be diverted via Weaste Lane and Eccles New Road

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref L/HLW/RTT/UV/357).
