Swinton Town Centre Community Parking Scheme Experimental Prohibition of Waiting, Introduction of Permit Holder Parking, Introduction of Disabled Parking Only, Introduction of One Way Traffic System and Amendment of Prohibition of Waiting Order 2007
Notice is hereby given that on the 14 September 2007 the council of the city of Salford made the above-mentioned order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001 No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991 and Part III of Schedule 9 of the said Act of 1984 hereby make the following Order:.
The order which comes into effect on 28 September 2007 shall introduce the following provisions; Prohibition of Waiting, Introduction of Permit Holder Parking, Introduction of Disabled Parking Only, Introduction of One Way Traffic System, Amendment of the Borough of Swinton and Pendlebury (Swinton Hall Road and Wellington Road, Swinton) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1969 (W6) on the lengths of road specified in the schedules below for a period of 18 months until 28 March 2009
A copy of the order together with a plan showing the area affected may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive

The council of the city of Salford will consider in due course whether the provisions of that order should be continued in force indefinitely. You may object to this within six months from 27 September 2007 by stating the grounds of your objection in writing to the City Solicitor, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA (quoting reference H/PP/C/PD/RTO/2701).
