Temporary prohibition of driving: Higher Broughton Regeneration Order 2009

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving along the highways detailed in the schedule below.

The order is required to enable demolition works close to the highway and will commence on 2 May 2009 for a period of two years until 2 May 2011. The closures will be carried out under phased working during demolition works.  The alternative route for vehicles will be signed locally as and when required.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours.  (Ref H/LH/UV/RTT).

  • Cardiff Street
  • Devonshire Street
  • Tully Street
  • Wiltshire Street
  • King Street
  • Turner Street
