Temporary Prohibition of Driving: Various Roads, Eccles Order 2007

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving on the highways as specified in the schedule below.

The order is required to enable major sewer replacement works and will commence on 26 November 2007 for a period of nine months until 26 August 2008. The alternative route for vehicles will be signed locally as required.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed Order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/RC/RTT/PD/02905).

Schedule

Temporary prohibition of driving on the following sections of highway:

Victoria Crescent from its junction with Half Edge Lane to its junction with Clarendon Road
Clarendon Road at its junction with Snowdon Road
Glendale Road for its entire length
Gilda Crescent Road from property no. 9 to property no. 21
