Temporary 40 MPH Speed Limit A580 East Lancashire Road Order 2008

Notice is hereby given that the council of the City of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be a temporary 40 m.p.h. speed limit for vehicles travelling along the A580 East Lancashire Road west bound from its junction with Newearth Road to its junction with Chaddock Lane (Wigan boundary).

The order is required to reduce the speed of vehicles prior to the Wigan boundary whilst essential maintenance is carried out on the safety barrier and will commence on 19 July 2008 for a period of two months until 19 September 2008.
