Permit Holder Only Parking and Amendment: Crompton Street Swinton Order 2009

Notice is hereby give that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and by virtue of the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area)(City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001 no 894).

When the order comes into effect permit holder parking only at all times will be introduced on the length of road specified in schedule 'A' below.

When the order comes into effect 'The City of Salford (Crompton Street, Swinton)(Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1988 will be amended as per schedule 'B' below.

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton,Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the City Solicitor, C/o The Litigation Team Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by 10 August 2009 (quoting reference H/PP/RTO/UV/291).

Introduction of permit holder parking only at all times

Crompton Street, northwest side from a point 3.5 metres northeast of the south westerly kerbline of the passageway between Crompton Street and Union Street for a distance of 38.4 metres.
